Level2&3 Review

« on: January 15, 2012, 08:32:37 PM »
As Michael put it in his welcome video for level4, we're all unique and will have a different experience... Btw, those videos are very informative and really detailed so you just know what to expect, which I find helpful and respectful of the customer... great job! So, here goes:
Level 1 was a pleasant, relaxing intro to a meditative state that I descibed back in November.
Level2:  the soundscape was very different, mildly intrusive sounds permeate the session,  but once I eased in after a couple of sessions I felt completely at home with all the church bells and other effects and went on to enjoy just another, slightly deeper, relaxing, meditative experience.
Level3 with its splendid ocean sounds got me going even deeper still (in a rather soothing, deeper relaxed state). No special fireworks or tremendous ahas (which I'm not particularly looking for anyway) just a very welcome relax, pleasant overall feeling of well being... which brings me to my very first listening today of Level4. In his video Intro to Level4 Michael describes it a bit as a reward...It really is: again the very welcome, pleasant, ever deepening relaxation of a luxurious delta bath not to mention the wonderful rain and thunder soundscape very artfully and skillfully put together by the sound jockeys at BrainEv...Kudos,really! :)
It got me wandering in delightful spaces (so far anyway) and wondering too, already, about the treasures buried in Neptune's Cave. (L5) But that's for next month's discoveries... I just want to stay with the reward and purr along with L4's magic this month. What else could I say? Oh, yes: Thank you very much BrainEv for a rich, opulent brainwave ride that will guarantee one a 30m island of peace even if experiencing a hectic life style, imho anyway..
Yep, thanks again everyone at BrainEv and a very Happy New Year to All!   :)

Hey Skylake,
And I'm seeing that sky and lake you connotate as I write....

So, so, so good to hear from you again! So the good guys stick with it and reap the rewards! Just immensely glad for you. Isn't level 4 glorious, those massive soundscapes..... the open plains.... (won't give away too much for others working at lower levels!).

I wonder what level 5 will do for you. While I learned how to heal myself, yes, this inner knowing just emerged and I massaged away all my pain- and it is still gone three months later - a whole lot of it just went over my head. Now I'm back on round 2 getting my mental muscles even fitter so I can really immerse myself in those slow, long and deep frequencies - and find what else is hidden in there!

Be well, Skylake. I'm standing on that distant lake shore right now.... Pure Bliss

Hi Pure Bliss,

It's been a while, I am truly busy with a zillion other things. I've read though that you are revisiting all 6 levels. Very interesting.
The soundscapes quality just gets better...I love the rolling thunder in particular...And yes, If level5 affected you that much it certainly makes me look even more forward to its qualities... A week in, now, Level4 still continues to deliciously wrap me around its fingers and I just let it happen...wide open to its multiple, richly layered effects...:)
Didn't you also experience level7? What are your impressions? I know I will eventually purchase it...50 minutes of this kind of brainwave entrainment is definitely something I'd like to check out!
Good luck with your 2nd tour de BrainEv...I'll do my best to come here more often and read about your experiences.... A bientot! :)

Hi again Skylake/William,
No I haven't yet done level 7. I have a personal policy not to 'consume' self-help stuff but to use it to improve my quality of life and savour the growth process. I found I was not mentally fit enough to gain all I could out of the lower theta and delta levels I encountered in levels 5 and maybe 6. I did benefit, I even discovered a way to heal myself, yet I don't believe I really descended into the depths of my inner self as I could do. Hence I am engaging in a round 2 of all 6 levels in order to be more mentally fit and stable. So far I am just on level 2 but the rewards in round 2 are at least what they were first time round, but with added depth and I find I have the ability to 'play', to 'manipulate', to understand and see much further. So it is the right decision for me. level 7 can wait. As Ganesh so aptly points out "The Mind wasn't built in one day". My goal is mastery and total ability to switch into different frequencies as each situation demands..... the exciting news is I can see this is possible, I'm getting there. For details though, you will have to read my Pure Bliss Round 2 thread, should you be interested.
Enjoy the rapture that level 4 brings and I am most curious to see how you cope with level 5. Now, I leave you with a vision of a limpid, clear lake and a perfect blue sky.... Pure Bliss

Yes, I believe I see where you're coming from Pure Bliss...Patience is very important. This ( Meditation and Brainwave Entrainment) is anything but a race! I'm curiosity itself with a hint of dedication..After all, I did 6 years with HS (1 hour every day) and probably "missed" 15 days or so at the most... I also don't forget that my ultimate goal is to simply go quiet, naturally, sans props of any kind. Obviously, so far, I don't hesitate to use brainwave entrainment to facilitate this ability of meditating, being still, going quiet,etc...  at will. And, as mentioned before, 100% naturally so. Over the years, I've noticed this happens now and then, here and there, with less or even no "effort":) A side effect commonly shared by brainwavers from what I've gleaned on other forums...
Yep, level5 will be what it will be...I've learned  it will be different for each and every person as we're all quite unique, indeed...I remember reading other people experience, with BrainEv, what I would describe as resembling overwhelm...I've certainly experienced some of those unpleasant "mind programs" with other products or good old life itself... Iknow that successful coping mechanisms can be shared but will only work when they are truly applicable to the very person's needs and situation or one's ability to follow through (depending the severity of the "overwhelm" coupled with one's awareness and readiness)...Pretty subjective stuff.
So far, BrainEv has been a rather pleasant, positive experience and it packs a punch too... Next month, I'll have a real idea of what Neptune's Cave harbors (for little me) meanwhile best regards and vibes to all BrainEvers and sunshine to you Pure Bliss from the Land of the Lake in the Sky :)

Hi William,
Interested to see that you were also a HS user. That stuff made me act out so much all the time that it nearly cost me my marriage! No kidding. And apart from using it regularly, I didn't actually feel any benefits. Overwhelm? difficult to tell. I just knew I had to get out of my then current situation whatever it took. We did change our situation, I stopped HS, and all is well. So difficult to say whether HS was a catalyst for the better. However it did not suit me well. BrainEv, however, does bring out the best - or better - in me. A small mercy for all of us!

[My current theory, which cannot be tested or proven, is that I am by nature a 'high delta' person in waking hours (perceptive, lots of intuition, acute radar to pick up on danger to me and others, highly sensitive), and the added hour of deep delta via HS really tipped the scales. Just a thought. BrainEv was like a bath of bliss because I got delicious top ups of alpha. Alpha makes me feel really good - it delivers balance and contentment to me.]

Hello Pure Bliss,

Well, I like BrainEV...I can't compare 6 years of HS or regular meditation or Tai Chi or Yoga or the Sedona Method...you get the drift :) with 4,5 months of BrainEv. I can say this much though: BrainEv comes with a wonderful sound engineering quality and , so far, anyway gives me a rather very pleasant overall experience...HS kicked my butt ( irritation, overwhelm, the whole rainbow of dark, negative feelings) but also gave me solid breakthroughs and helped me build inner strength and I wasn't the only one to experience these, particularly in the long run. This said I have no desire to defend one product over the other. All I have is personal experience...great or not and not necessarily relevant or applicable to someone else. Go with what works for You, keeps You motivated and truly benefits You, is my general philosophy regarding these various methods. We all do a little research before we give away our hard earned money or dive into the unknown of fabulous promises. Now, if my marriage went straight for the rocks or if friends and co-workers started looking at me in a peculiar way after my using whatever method...I'd seriously question its efficacy or effects on me vs second guessing myself and continue to punish myself because some inner or external voice of authority tells me that self flagellation is truly good for me...In my book, Pure Bliss, there is no doubt you did the right thing! I'm willing to bite bullits and fight the good fight but not with the implication of "colateral damage" or the development of masochistic tendencies...there's plenty of that already :)
In the world of releasing as well there are quite a few good teachers and methods. I have my favorites and some I frankly don't like or don't resonate with at all. What matters, is if yes or no it "works", particularly if I give it my honest time, devotion... not to mention el dinero!  ;)
But this is the BrainEv forum and back to what this product (10 days into level4) does to me: It's great! As, I said before: fantastic sound recording quality - a very important fact- it helps to feel motivated to continue with this type of "meditation". Just the sound of the rolling thunder has a natural perfection that grabs my attention in a very peculiar way. I love that part. It packs a punch but makes me feel aok, not groggy at all. Of course, life unfolds with its better days than others. I'm very sensitive actually, but I can't truly tell if my day went better thanks to or got worse because of my session...I believe in the synergy of BrainEv, my personal "work", motivations, intentions, skills developed or not over time,etc... as being the agents that make my days great or not.I'm very grateful actually to have these "teachers" or methods that allow me to access my own teacher and live my life the very best way possible in good and bad times.Looking back a few years, I literally felt like the proverbial lost man in a lost world... A very different picture today. :)
Would I recommend BrainEv? Absolutely! BrainEv stands tall in the world of brainwave entrainment, imho. Excellent quality at a very reasonable price...this monetary aspect shouldn't be ignored or glossed over either. The world of "Self Help" abounds with good people but also merchants of bs, dying to repackage old wisdom or products and sell, sell, sell to the hungry self help junkies. BrainEv comes across as honest, fairly priced with also excellent info and customer service...I'm rereading myself here...Hmmm, it looks like I am a happy camper, after all! 8).
Thanks for your impressions and thoughts Pure Bliss, they're very insightful and based on first hand experience, something I always appreciate. (Yes, I read your other threads, particularly the one dealing with your desire to go for a second tour of BrainEv...I found your description of the educational system, teachers and students rather fascinating in both a semi-comical and dreadful way. It is scary, at times, this "system")
I send you my very best wishes on your BrainEv trails.

William.
