Hello Ben,
I really meant to reply to your post as soon as I saw it.... got distracted.... and well done to Dreamer for resussitating it before it sinks below immediate view.
If I remember correctly, creativity and theta frequencies go hand in hand.... and you can see by looking at the introductory BrainEv videos exactly what brainwave frequencies you are experiencing at each level.
Bear in mind that alpha can make us feel pretty relaxed and soporific..... remember how we used to nod off or 'blank out' during the first week or two of each BrainEv level? That is the soothing, snoozy effect of lower alpha frequencies. It takes mental fitness to stay alert during deep alpha. In real life when we are in low alpha we are daydreaming, appear mentally absent, or we are preparing for a nice nap!
After that we descend lower still into theta realms (and most of us are sleeping lightly then). Theta is the sub-conscious realm. However for those of us who are mentally fit enough to remain alert-ish during theta there are delicious goodies to be harvested: creativity; insights; deep contentedness/bliss; and according to 'Wise Anna', theta delivers the 'peak' in peak experiences. [In my current experience this tends to be symbolic, so we need to add in a bit of alpha and beta, to remember what we experience and to understand what we get.] She has a nice metaphor that I find useful to visualise, in that she speaks of bringing content from theta/delta "across the alpha bridge" into beta (where we can work with it / intellectualise / reflect) in an alert state of mind. Stuff that we cannot remember has "slipped back down" into sub/unconsciousness - i.e. lost to our conscious thoughts (beta realm).
I would guess that the bells in level 2 - and other 'exotic' sounds - serve to lift us temporarily out of deep alpha and theta, allowing us to 'surface' enough to 'recall' what we have experienced at deeper sub/unconscious levels. 'Wise Anna' refers to this injection of a little high alpha and low beta as critical to being able to 'import' content from sub (theta) and un (delta) conscious realms.
I know this probably all sounds very complicated. That is why I cannot recommend Anna Wise's book,
Awakening the Mind: A guide to mastering the power of your brainwaves strongly enough. BrainEv, without Anna as a guide, is kind of like spending a week in Rome, but doing it without a map. So finding the sights and splendours is haphazard, coincidental, and you might just see the colloseum and think it is a nice, old 'castle'. Maps help us nagivate so we get to see/do what we want to do. [This is just my opinion as a BrainEv user

]
As I have progressed through lv 2 I find that when I am in the deeper states I have all sorts of weird, wacky and random idea's,stories and images going through my mind as I try to observe my thoughts. Unfortunately they are hard to remember with proper detail, I'm hoping with time my ability to recall these thoughts will get better.
It looks as if you are already managing to descend beautifully into theta and/or delta, so that is shows what a powerful programme BrainEv is. Clearly you are remembering some, if not all you would like to, of what is playing out at lower brainwave frequencies - AND you are even managing to bring it across your "alpha bridge" into consciousness.To remember even more, Anna would suggest writing it down as soon as you finish the session. Taking it seriously like this encourages your sub/unconscious to deliver even more 'goodies'.
When you hit the $$$$ zone, do share it with us! If I were you I would be most encouraged. First, you are open to $$$ insights, so you won't doubt them if you get them. If I were you, as a second step, I would set a 'gentle' intention prior to your session, telling your sub/unconscious that you would really welcome creativity and you will respect/ act on? great ideas as they bubble up.
May you generate creative ideas to rival Einstein! Perhaps you are set to become the first BrainEv billionaire? Hope this helps - and go buy Anna Wise's book - take care, Pure Bliss
