Hi Inedible,
My New Year's resolution is to delve deep into energy systems, building and focusing it so your recommendation came at an opportune time (I'll call it a happy coincidence Karl, LOL

, rather than fate). Gotta love the Taoists--I've read & discussed with others elsewhere about this info but never really did it personally. I'll give it a try next year (just bought one of the books he lists on the site re: Taoist teaching--do you have a recommendation on any of these books?) while I put another book's info to the test--it deals with Chakra energy so they will mesh well. I always wondered about Kundalini circulating energy UP the spine when chakra energy (from the books I've read thus far) normally goes DOWN the back and up the front. The backwards flow is like Chi flow (Prana) via meridians which is what I am more familiar with and done as a practice. I've never done Hatha Yoga or Kundalini (@ least consciously or by those names) so this MAY be new territory for me in practice. Would you say ANY of the books are easy to implement without a teacher to show/answer questions (ie self-explanatory) or would a teacher be indispensable as is usually the case?
Dear Nigel,
Re: traditional methods-- +1
Congrats on completing the program! You could do BrainEv discs 1-6 once a year with periodic refreshers of each disc during the other 6 months on a less regimented schedule of your preference. By all means, experiment!!

if you use on demand, just recall how you responded to each level during your first go around and use as appropriate. I still revisit each level CD for specific results in my case, while doing L7, and the videos by Michael Kelly gives you some guidance as well (I believe it was discussed primarily in Level 6).
Until you save up & get Level 7, have fun trying other methods that will mesh well with BrainEv but approach from a different avenue, like energy systems (eg Kundalini as Inedible mentioned above). There is a lot out there via the Web (& library) and some require minimal to no investment capital to do. By doing stuff like this, your next run through the BrainEv program will have deeper results both qualitative & quantitative.
