Hi BrainEv'ers!

This is a message for BrainEv graduates that are using Level 7.

A number of users have reported that the sounds used in Level 7 were a little "harsh." We used the sounds of New Zealand rainfall, which we thought worked well. But it's become obvious that not everybody finds it quite as relaxing as previous levels.

That's why we've been working on recreate that part of Level 7, replacing the rainfall with sounds of a babbling New Zealand brook.

We're just putting the finishing touches onto this new version of the level. EVERYTHING ELSE STAYS THE SAME, it's just the superficial audio (NOT the underlying brainwave entrainment) that changes.

If you've purchased Level 7 in the past, we'll automatically email you over the next week with a link to download a FREE copy of this new Level 7 for you to use.

I've already tried it a few times myself. And I agree that it is actually a very nice improvement over the original Level 7.

The sounds of a New Zealand babbling brook make it much easier to listen to, rather than the slightly harsher rainfall we used previously.

We believed that the harder sounds would work better. But feedback dictated otherwise.

The entrainment itself has NOT altered in any way. We have simply shifted the backing audio, to help make it a more pleasurable and easier session to sink into.

I know that you personally have influenced our decisions, @PureBliss. For example, I remember you saying that you had issues with the Deep Sleep session with the Brain Salon. We are actually redeveloping that one session, as it starts at a frequency that can make those who aren't currently relaxed a little agitated. Therefore we are creating a version that takes you from any state (including agitation) down to sleep. That will be released as a free upgrade over the next month too.

Tiffany -- Yes, this has now been added to the Level 7 download page. If users of Level 7 simply click the link in the email they've been sent (or visit the link in their original download email), they can obtain the new session. As soon as they listen to it, they'll realize the difference!

Robert -- Goodness me, I'm not sure I'm really an authority I do enjoy writing about my experiences from time to time however, and have been considering working on another couple of books, including one possibly on meditation. For me, such books are simply for fun.

I tend to write about what I want to *learn*: it helps to add clarity to my own thought process. I originally wrote two books on computer programming when I needed to learn it. It forced me to learn everything I could and explain it in the simplest possible way. "If you can't explain something simply, you don't understand it well enough" -- ol' Einstein said that, and I'm a big believer in the philosophy!
