"My Experience with BrainEv"
« on: November 06, 2009, 07:45:32 AM »
Hi Gang --

Just got this message from one user by e-mail. We have her permission to post it here. Thought you might find it interesting!

-- Karlos :)

"For me, BrainEv was more than an experiment. It was follow-up and follow-through for the years of research I’ve been conducting concerning the creative process, enhanced by neurotechnology. First, through light-sound in the late 1980s and, later, with just sound. For my Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing/Poetry, I wrote my thesis on NeuroTech and the Creative Process and it was published. I also delivered it as a lecture. That was in 1992.

"So much has happened since then. I am a full-time ghost writer, book doctor and editor as well as a published author. You can check out my index and my websites. I don’t have time to participate in forums… I am so busy most of the time… but I do want you to know that I had an extraordinary experience with your 6 discs. I followed the program faithfully.

"I also have to tell you I am going to be 71 in December. Most of my classmates are either dead or in nursing homes. They are surely retired. I am the only fully active, fully productive person I know. Am I a phenomenon? Apparently so, but not because I want to be. This should be every person’s life experience.

"This material is worthy of a book. You need to get a book out there about this technology. It is far superior of the Monroe work or any of the other programs I’ve worked with. I’d love to write that book for you if you have a budget to make it happen. It should be a collection of all of the experiences and testimonials from those who bought the program and followed it… plus your own story of how you got involved with this research. I’m here to help you!"

In my humble opinion, if such a book happens, it should have 3 parts :

1) the scientific basis of brain entrainment, history an so on,

2) report of a study conducted by... (University of...) on a sample of n.. people (students / businessmen / social workers / whatever) using BrainEv, that gave these results .... and ... and ...
Based on this study, the proven benefits of BrainEv can be described as... and ...

3) testimonials

I think the value of testimonials is to illustrate, personalize, help readers to relate to their own experience and needs, but first you have to convince with factual, scientific basis.
Testimonials alone could give the feeling that BrainEv is a method with a good placebo effect... which I'm sure it is not (I like to think that, so the placebo effect works better for me ;)...).

I litle less ambitious version could be a good report in a magazine about psychology or wellness or neuroscience...

Hello there,
Nice to read what you have to say.
I'm worried. I am up to Level 3 and I haven't noticed any changes whatsoever!! :'(

Hello

I'm in the same case that you (just finishing level 3), but I've red here that other members didn't notice any clear benefits before level 4, 5, or even 6 !
So I think we must be patient and confident...

Definitely patience!!!

Don't give up. Continue through it. Look for the changes in your feelings and
behavior during the day, not while you are listening. Think of it this way. The
treatment is not the good part, it is the result that makes the difference.

BTW, the brain needs about 21 to 30 days to develop and strengthen new
pathways to the extent that it can rely on and use continuously. So a couple
of days or even a week are not enough to determine results.

Absolutely right. Don't you ever give up!  ;)
I really started to feel results in level 4. Just keep on with it. And mood swings did happen to me too. Don't worry about it, it's all part of the process :)

Thanks Veronique. I'm taking the whole thing on trust and will definitely  :-\wait & see.

Years ago I did Holosync...and experienced very little. I then met others who had not experienced what was promised either. So I guess I'm hopeful AND wary!   :-\
