Suggested Brain Salon primer track for Brain EV?
« on: July 04, 2011, 01:37:42 PM »
Hi all. I've decided to give Brain Salon a "go" since I am enjoying Brain EV so far. Is there a particular Brain Salon track you do before Brain EV that you find enhances your experience? How long does it take before you start to feel the benefits of using it (e.g. instantaneous, a day, week)? Just curious as to what others suggest or have experienced. As of now, I've tried "Happy Pill" once and feel no change as of yet (I'm sure there is a time curve). Or, I am already in my Happy Place thanks to BrainEv ;D. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

The Brain Salon track I use the most is the Deep Sleep.  I have insomnia or I often wake during the night and cannot go back to sleep.  The first couple of times I used the track I had to get used to listening to it while I slept and having my earphones on (because my SO doesn't want to hear it), which was strange.  After the adjustment, I find that I am able to go to sleep pretty quick once the track begins.

I've only used the other ones a couple of times.  High Energy Espresso gave me a headache the first time I listened to it, but again, so did BrainEv.  ::)

Hi all,

I won't be doing it ALWAYS, but I tried 'Razor Focus' 1 hour before doing BrainEV (30 min break in between) and I definitely noticed it. I think I will do a rotation of one Brain Salon track/week in this fashion and see if I experience similar results. (EVERY bell sound from Lucid Echoes reverberated through my body as a wave). It was incredibly vivid, serene, and a nostalgic-feeling of days gone by all at once.  And yes, I had a very sharp focus as I listened to every nuance. If you have the time in your schedule, give it a try. I think 'Creative Spark' is next for me.

I don't usually use the two sessions side by side, but I would like to add that I really love "Razor Sharp" -- use that baby all the time. It's a great way to start the day and really gets me into the zone prior to a great day's work!

Update

I have now had the opportunity to do all of them at least twice, and they do work well. 'High Energy Espresso' is a really powerful one--I learned that out the hard way as I used it around 6 PM one night (I didn't sleep the night before, was on fumes, and didn't want to go to bed yet).  Holy mama, big mistake :o! I was able to go to sleep, though, that night...around 2:30 AM :). I really liked 'Creative Spark', 'Razor Sharp Focus', and 'Power Chill' the most. I have had 50/50 success with 'Ultra Deep Sleep' probably due to my lifelong insomnia. It is a good series for those interested for a little something extra to boost (temporarily) your performance in the aforementioned ways. It's just fun to listen to as well.

I am also reading one of your iBooks ("Secret Art of Self-Development"), Karl--it is a GOOD read thus far. I used to be a Tony Robbins' fan back when he was new (still am) and I love empowerment stuff when done correctly (used it all of the time as a manager--to outstanding results). Kudos to you.
